You will not be disconnected from the energy grid, even if you switch suppliers. Whether you switch via Dyme or in another way, you will always remain connected. You don't have to worry about this; the new energy supplier will ensure a smooth transition.
How does the transition work?
- We find a new energy supplier. This is done through the comparison carried out by one of our personal advisors.
- The new supplier cancels your current energy contract. Your new supplier will do this for you only when it's certain you want to switch to the new provider.
- The new supplier starts the energy delivery. This happens automatically on the agreed upon date. You don't have to do anything for this yourself. Sometimes the new supplier will ask for confirmation.
During the transfer
- You will not notice the transfer. Your gas and electricity will continue to flow.
- You don't have to pass on meter readings. The new supplier will arrange this with your old supplier.
Can the energy be shut off just like that?
No, you cannot be disconnected from the energy grid just like that. This only happens in extreme cases such as when:
- You do not pay your energy bills.
- You are illegally tapping electricity or gas.
- You have an unsafe installation.
In all other cases, you are entitled to energy.
