It is indeed possible that the consumption is not entirely correct. In the comparison, we use the specified consumption filled in during the request. If it is indicated that the consumption is unknown, we make an estimate of the consumption based on other entered data and use that estimate in the comparison.
Adjusting consumption
In principle, it is not a problem if the consumption in the comparison is not completely correct. As long as it is a small difference, it will not have an impact on the costs. You only pay an energy supplier for the actual energy that you consume. If your consumption is higher than the estimated consumption of your monthly tariff, you will have to pay back at the end of the year. If you consume less, you will get money back at the end of the year. You can also adjust the monthly tariff in the online environment of your provider.
New comparison
We can also perform a new comparison for you. In this case, the best course of action is to look up the consumption in the statement from your supplier and send it to us (You can also send the document itself, and we will look it up for you. The information is often confusing in those overviews). We will then adjust the consumption in our system and run the comparison again. I would like to know if this is something you want.
